Conference on Research in CSR
The Conference organized by the Benita and Catalino Yap Foundation (BCYF) — and, concomitantly, its logo — is all about human dignity. The circle reflects that dignity is innate in man, he who has intrinsic worth. Such is the case because we are created in God’s image, symbolized by the dark green above the person’s head. Green is also the color of BCYF, and is a symbol of vitality and growth - the potential in anyone and everyone wishing to live a CSR 3.0 life.
Game Change Asia
GameChange Asia is a bi-monthly gatherings of young professionals and aspiring social entrepreneurs featuring speakers in social enterprise and innovation. BCYF Chairman, Tony Yap, likens social development work to water: "Each individual is like a drop of water wherein each one develops personal social responsibility, anchored on ethical conduct and charity, that will generate a flood of purposeful volunteerism and service. This will eventually create a better society (BCYF Social Development Model, 2013)". The logo captures this metaphor fittingly. The star also represents the light that guides human efforts towards the right path.
UXMNL
UXMNL (User Experience Manila) is the first UX agency in the Philippines. Any development begins by understanding the users' needs. The logo, inspired by minimalism and flat paper-cut strips, captures how tools and services should be designed for the users' experience. The orange arrow aptly points to the user (U) to emphasize that the core of any work is the human person.
